Authorities: Bus driver who left 3-year-old special needs student on bus charged

POINT PLEASANT -

A bus driver who authorities say left a 3-year-old special needs student on a bus earlier this month has been charged with child neglect.

Officials say that the school has fired Richard Cohen of Point Pleasant and a school bus aide.

A high school student walking by a bus heard a child crying and told school employees.

The child was found uninjured an hour later.
