After 16 months, legislative leaders announcing defeat this week. Legalizing recreational marijuana in New Jersey will not come through the Statehouse -- the issue is expected to go to the voters for a referendum in 2020. Payton Guion, NJ Advance Marijuana's chief marijuana correspondent, joins News 12's Alex Zdan to go through the details.

Plus, two members of the Legislature's budget committees visit the show to discuss the state's economy -- Sen. Declan O'Scanlon, a Republican, and Assembly member Gordon Johnson, a Democrat.
