Police: Driver under the influence crashes into NJ Transit bus

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP -

Police in Washington Township say a driver under the influence crashed into a New Jersey Transit bus.

The crash happened Monday night on Black Horse Pike.

Zachary Kind has been charged with assault by auto and driving while intoxicated.

According to police, there were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash.

Police say the driver was taken to the hospital.

There is no word on their condition.
