Police: Man stabbed Lyft driver, passenger with screwdriver

A man from Bloomfield is accused of stabbing a Lyft driver and passenger with a screwdriver.
According to Clark police, Farrahkhan Howard, 27, attacked the victims with a screwdriver while inside the Lyft vehicle.
Police say both of the victims were able to escape the car.
The 47-year-old Lyft driver suffered stab wounds and lacerations to his head, face and neck.
The 20-year-old female suffered stab wounds and cuts on her face and head as well.
Both were transported to University Hospital in serious condition.
Howard left in the Lyft vehicle, became involved in an accident, and was taken into custody by police.
He’s been charged with carjacking and aggravated assault, among other charges.
