Police in Montclair are searching for two men accused of trying to force an 18-year-old woman into a car.

The incident happened Sunday around 3:20 p.m.

The woman told police she was walking on Park Street, near Watchung Avenue, when a car pulled up next to her.

According to police, the passenger got out and grabbed her by the arm, but she was able to fight him off.

Police say she suffered minor scrapes to her neck and arms.

Authorities said the man was described as white, approximately 40 to 50 years old, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, with brown hair, brown eyes and a brown mustache.

He was reportedly wearing a beige T-shirt.

The driver of the car was described as white, 40 to 50 years old, heavyset with a full beard and round face.

She described the car as a green or gray four-door older model crossover with a white license plate.
