Funeral services set for New Jersey native killed in South Carolina crash

EAST BRUNSWICK -

Funeral services will be held this week for a student from Monroe Township who died in a South Carolina car crash.

According to authorities, the crash happened last Friday on U.S. 15, just east of the Interstate 26-Interstate 95 junction in Orangeburg County.

Authorities say Shea Crothers, 20, as well as two others, were killed in the crash.

Crothers was a student at East Carolina University. Two other students have been hospitalized with serious injuries.

Her funeral is Thursday at the Brunswick Memorial Home in East Brunswick.

Crothers was born in New Brunswick and lived in Monroe Township.
