Bridgeport residents are coming together to help a local carpenter whose tools were stolen during a burglary caught on camera.       

Friends of the victim look to raise $3,000 to replace what was taken during the car break-in Thursday morning.
           
Security cameras recorded the crime in progress on Wallace Street, where the victim lives.
           
He didn't want his face shown for fear of retaliation.
           
The victim’s friends say he's a hardworking husband with three little kids.
