Wilton goes green with annual Zero Waste Faire

A Wilton fair is reminding the community to think green this spring.
The Zero Waste Faire encourages people to go green and think eco-friendly by teaching the impact that even just one zero waste practice can have and how they can make zero waste a reality.
Visitors were invited to participate in a number of interactive exhibits, including having a look at the state's recycling laws, observing a zero-waste living demo area and education on gardening and farming.
Attendees were also taught about the negative impact of single-use plastic bags on the environment, and specifically how they negatively affect our waters and animals.
Organizers say the event continues to grow every year. This year, they welcomed many new exhibitors and products for sale.
