EAST RUTHERFORD -

It's a big day for gamblers today in the Garden State.

This is the first NCAA tournament since sports betting became legal in New Jersey.

Fans can place wagers in-person at a land-based sportsbook or online.

FanDuel says the most popular bet to win the NCAA tournament is Duke, with almost one quarter of the bets.

Virginia is next with 17 percent, then Gonzaga with 13 percent.

However, fans in New Jersey won’t be able to place wagers on their home team unless they leave the state.
