OCEAN COUNTY -

Police in Ocean County are searching for a man they say led them on a high-speed chase through two towns.

The incident happened over the weekend in Jackson, and then Lakewood.

According to police, Larry Crippen, 20, was driving through Jackson Saturday when he refused to pull over.

Police say the officer followed Crippen into Lakewood, crossing double yellow lines and topping speeds of 100 miles per hour.

Police then decided to end the pursuit.

Crippen is facing several charges, and already has a separate warrant out for his arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Michael Goelz at 732-928-1111.
