The circle of life – The next generation of a 9/11 victim

BAYONNE -

A family in Bayonne is experiencing the circle of life right now – birth, death, re-birth again – following the tragedy of 9/11.

Marcy Borders, nicknamed the dust lady for her famous picture of her after the twin towers collapsed, died almost four years ago from cancer she developed, likely from inhaling toxins in the air that day.

Marcy's sister, Dawn, is now a grandmother.

Her daughter, Nyjaia, just had a baby, named Nymir -- the first child of the Borders’ next generation.

Dawn reached out to News 12 New Jersey on Facebook, saying she wishes Marcy was alive to see.

They held the baby shower over the weekend.
