Route 9 in Old Bridge reopens following police investigation

Route 9 in Old Bridge is back open after police closed it down to investigate a deadly accident that happened earlier this week.
Route 9 was closed in both directions between Texas Road and Spring Valley Road for about two hours Friday afternoon.
Two people died following a three-car crash Monday morning. A man and woman were rear-ended by one car and pushed into a third one.
The road was closed for five hours while police investigated.
