The Gallup polling organization has come out with a list of the happiest states in the U.S., and New Jersey has ranked in the bottom half.

According to the poll, New Jersey was ranked 31st out of 50 states.

The results are from an annual report done by organization, looking at ranks involving career, social, financial, community, and physical well-being.

Hawaii was ranked the happiest state in the country, followed by Wyoming and Alaska.

The ‘unhappiest’ state in the country is West Virginia.
