Officials confirm case of whooping cough at Morris County school

School officials in Chatham have confirmed a case of whooping cough at a middle school, and a second student is also suspected to have the illness.
Officials sent a letter to parents Thursday at Chatham Middle School.
The disease is highly contagious and spreads through sneezes or coughing.
According to officials, they will continue to monitor the situation and will take additional actions if needed.
The identities of the students have not been released.
