Authorities identify couple killed in Route 9 crash

Authorities have released the names of a couple from Manalapan who were killed when the ride-sharing car they were passengers in was involved in a three-vehicle crash on Route 9.
The crash happened Monday shortly before 6 a.m. in Old Bridge.
According to police, Grigory Deli, 72, and his wife, Margarita, 71, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Authorities say the couple were in the back seat of the ride-sharing car that was rear-ended by an SUV and then pushed into a third vehicle.
The 37-year-old driver of the ride-sharing car and the driver of third vehicle hit in the chain-reaction collision, a 47-year-old Staten Island man, suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The SUV driver wasn't injured.
