Antique car enthusiasts were invited to the New Jersey Convention & Expo Center Saturday night for the fifth annual Antique and Sport Car Auction in conjunction with the New Jersey Home Show.

Eight antique classic vehicles were set to be auctioned off, with a like-new 1969 Chevrolet Corvette starring the event. The fully restored, bright blue car has just 425 miles, a 427 motor and a 437 horsepower engine.

Head Auctioneer Joseph Bodnar says he expects the corvette to go for somewhere between $60,000 and $80,000.

Other vehicles being auctioned include a 1928 two-door Chevrolet Coupe, a 1959 Ford F-100 pickup truck and a 1978 Cadillac Coupe Deville.

The free event and sale began at 5 p.m.
