State police say a man from Maryland faces charges for allegedly attempting to lure a 13-year-old girl for sex, in exchange for money, on an online app.
According to state police, they posed as the young girl using Skout and communicated with Felix Jimenez-Romero, 36.
Detectives allege Jimenez-Romero, knowing the victim's age, suggested a meeting and offered compensation in exchange for sex.
He was arrested after arriving to meet the girl at a diner in Union Township.
Jimenez-Romero was charged with luring/enticing a child, promoting prostitution of a minor, and attempted sexual assault.
He was lodged in Union County Jail pending a bail detention hearing.
