WOODBRIDGE -

Crews in Woodbridge say they have salt and snow removal equipment on the ready for this week's dose of winter weather.

News 12 meteorologists say a brief dose of overnight snow may impact the Monday morning commute. They say snow is expected to leave behind slippery conditions on roadways and sidewalks.

Winter weather advisories have been posted for the southern half of the state until 12 p.m. Monday.

Meteorologists say a big storm expected Tuesday will bring snow, ice and rain and create very dangerous conditions.

Those who plan to hit the roadways in the next two days are advised to drive with caution.
