WANAQUE -

Police say initial reports of a boiler room explosion are unfounded at a school in Wanaque.

According to police, they received a call around 8:10 a.m. at Lakeland Regional High School on Conklintown Road.

When police arrived, they found an electrician had blown a breaker while working in an electrical room.

The 57-year-old man received some cuts and burns, and was sent to the hospital for treatment.

Students were evacuated to the other side of the building while everything was checked out.

They have since returned to the building.
