Students in Freehold are raising money to help the three sisters who lost both of their parents following an apparent murder-suicide.

Students raised over $60,000 online for the orphaned teens.
The four student organizers say they wanted to put something together for the family because the sisters could use the financial support.
According to police, Denise Bartone was found dead early Monday morning in her home located at 123 Koster Drive.
Officials also say a vehicle registered to the Bartone family was found parked on the Thomas Edison Memorial Bridge in Woodbridge the same morning.
The body of Kenneth Bartone, Denise’s husband, was found floating in the Raritan River several hours later. Police have ruled his death an apparent suicide.
Friends of the Bartones say Denise was a prominent member of the Freehold school community. She was the chairperson of a local education foundation.
A vigil for Denise Bartone was held at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine in Freehold Monday evening.
