Flags statewide are at half-staff today in memory of a Fair Haven native, and soldier, who was killed during a training exercise in New Mexico.
Residents said a final goodbye to PFC Jamie Riley, 21.
Riley was killed in a training accident two weeks ago while on active duty at McGregor Range.
He is the son of Plainfield Police Director Carl Riley, and joined the army back in January of 2018.
