Petland Discounts is shutting its doors at all of its locations after more than 50 years in business.

The shutdown comes after the company's owner, Neil Padron, died earlier this month of bladder cancer.

The chain employed more than 360 people at dozens of locations across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, including 10 in New Jersey.
