Soldier from NJ killed in New Mexico training accident

The military has identified a soldier from Monmouth County as one of two people who died during a training accident this week.
Officials say 21-year-old Pvt. 1st Class Jamie Riley was killed Tuesday when his training vehicle collided with another vehicle in New Mexico.
Riley, from Fair Haven, was a Red Bank Catholic graduate. His father is the director of Plainfield police.
Cpl. Cole Wixom, of Michigan, also died in the collision.
Seven others are still being treated for their injuries.
Officials are looking into how the crash happened.
