Belmar is holding a series of town meetings as they consider hiking seasonal beach badge prices and other fees.

According to township officials, the increases are being considered due to rising costs and a lack of tax increases to cover their rising budget.

Mayor Mark Walsifer also said the costs for maintenance and making improvements are rising.
