Police are still searching for a person who went missing nine years ago who they say may still be alive.
Patrick Alford was last seen on Jan. 22, 2010. The 7-year-old was leaving his building at 130 Vandalla Ave. in the Spring Creek Houses.
Alford had been removed from his mother's custody and put in foster care. The woman who he lived with in 2010 told police he ran away and never returned.
As the search continues, police have offered $12,000 for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for his disappearance.
Police released a rendering of what Alford might look like today, hoping someone could recognize him. They say he has a scar on his left eyebrow.
