BERGEN COUNTY -

Snow hit Bergen County Saturday night as the state geared up for its first snowstorm of 2019.

Customers packed a Home Depot in Mahwah throughout Saturday in a rush to get supplies.

State officials say snow plows and salt trucks will be working non-stop to clear roads throughout the weekend.

News 12 meteorologists say snow, rain and sleet could cause power outages and turn streets into ice when the temperatures plunge Sunday.
