Good Samaritan returns lost wallet containing $5K in cash

A Westport woman is searching for the good Samaritan who returned her wallet that contained thousands of dollars in cash.
Shirley Reed says she loves to visit the casino. On Thursday, she hit it big and cashed out. To celebrate, she offered to pick up some lobsters for her and her son at ShopRite in Stratford.
That's when her wallet with over $5,000 in cash fell out of her car door. She went back out to the car and the wallet was nowhere in sight. She was relieved to find out someone had turned in the wallet.
"Whoever it is, I don't care. I want them to come forward so I can reach out to them, because they saved my life…I might have had a heart attack if I didn't get my money back," says Reed.
Reed thanked the employee who gave the wallet over to her manager $100. Now she is asking the woman who found the wallet in the parking lot to contact ShopRite in Stratford so she can "share some of her riches."
