Invasive beetle discovered on private property in Southold

An invasive beetle has been discovered on Long Island for the first time.
The Emerald Ash Borer was spotted on private property in the town of Southold. The beetle is known to devestate certain types of trees.
The bug is native to Asia and was discovered in the U.S. in Michigan back in 2002.
