State of emergency declared in New Jersey as state could get up to 10 inches of of snow

Two people from Brick Township are accused of leaving their pit bull outside for hours in scorching temperatures over the summer – leading to the dog dying of heat stroke.
Jonathon Correa and Kiara Martinez are under indictment on charges of animal cruelty.
According to prosecutors, the 13-month-old dog was outside on a balcony with temperatures hitting 97 degrees.
Neighbors called to get help for the dog.
