Fire damages Wayne Township home; 1 treated for smoke inhalation

A large fire badly damaged a Wayne Township home Tuesday afternoon.

The fire broke out at 4 Skyview Road around 1:20 p.m. Neighbors called 911 after seeing the smoke and flames coming from the home.

Witnesses described seeing bright orange flames and thick black smoke from the multistory home.

One resident of the home was treated for smoke inhalation, but no other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
