Police: Suspect told clerk he had gun, took money from 7-Eleven

Police in Brick Township are seeking the public’s help identifying a robbery suspect who took money from a 7-Eleven.
According to police, the man entered the 7-Eleven on Route 70 in Brick Sunday around 4:30 a.m.
Police say the man approached the clerk with his arm in his jacket and told him he had a gun.
The man demanded money, grabbed some from the clerk, and left.
The suspect is believed to have left the area on foot.
The clerk was not injured.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black or Hispanic male, 5' 9" to 5' 10", around 180 lbs., with full dark-colored beard and mustache.
He was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, black wool skull cap, white T-shirt, white sneakers, and a gold-colored chain hanging out of the hoodie.
