Police say a man from Pennsylvania who was struck along Route 80 has died.

New Jersey State Police say Marc DiRaimo, 53, was hit by another vehicle Saturday afternoon after pulling over to the side of the highway.

State Police Sgt. Jeff Flynn says DiRaimo had parked his truck behind an unoccupied vehicle that was disabled by an earlier crash when he was struck by another pickup truck.

DiRaimo was pronounced dead at the hospital at 2:15 p.m.

Flynn has identified the driver that struck DiRaimo as Dioris De Jesus Fermin, 63.

Flynn says Fermin was also injured in the crash, but his injuries are not life-threatening.

No charges have been filed.
