A Newark man has been arrested for attempting to disarm a police officer.

A Newark man has been arrested for attempting to disarm a police officer.
Officers from the 5th Precinct in Newark responded to a domestic violence call at Hedden Terrace Residence Saturday evening.
Police say that is when 29-year-old Adam Baines resisted arrest and then tried to grab the service weapon from an officer's holster.
One officer was injured during the incident.
Baines now facing several charges.
