AAA: 102M Americans to drive to holiday destinations

A record number of holiday travelers are hitting the roads to get to their destinations this weekend before the Christmas holiday.
It was a chaotic start for drivers Friday morning. Strong winds and rain caused accidents and backups. This weekend is expected to be the busiest time to travel, so experts say to leave Friday night if possible.
AAA says more than 112 million Americans are expected to travel during through New Year's this year. More than 102 million people are expected to drive to their destinations.
Experts say travel times in the country's most congested cities could take up to four hours longer than usual.
