Flooding hits Route 35, more expected in evening

Heavy storms hit New Jersey Friday morning, with some flooding reported in the state.

Flooding has been reported at Shark River in Belmar.

The Route 35 roadway experienced flooding earlier in the morning and is expected to see some later on due to the tides around 6 p.m.

Route 35 normally floods during high tide.

Ponding has been seen on smaller roads.
