‘Hear something, say something’: Vermont student overheard shooting plot, told principal

A middle school student from Vermont has been credited with stopping a school shooting plot after overhearing a conversation and telling the principal.

According to police, two students planned to shoot others at a school in Middlebury.

Police say another student overheard the conversation and told the principal.

Police seized guns the students planned to take from their relatives and use in the shooting.

The two students are in custody.
