Santa made a quick stop in New Canaan Saturday to check in on some well-behaved children at the Nature Center.
It was all part of their 11th annual Winter Wonderland event.
Guests were able to visit the winter wonderland from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday.
While organizers say that it's important to bring the community out to spend time together, it's also crucial that kids unplug from their devices to explore and learn more about nature.
"Nature is our roots and it's nice to get back and connect to things,” says Michelle Hips, of the New Canaan Nature Center. “It's really great for kids to be able to play outside and just use their hands and use all their senses."
Organizers say the proceeds from the event will go right back into the center to continue their programs and support of their animals.
