Boy accused of making terroristic threats against town schools

Police in Holmdel have charged a boy they say made terroristic threats against the town's high school and middle school.
The family had to give up weapons they legally owned following the threats at Holmdel High School and William R. Satz School.
The boy has since been released to his parents.
Officials are reminding parents to make sure their kids know incidents like this are not the kind of thing to joke about, on social media or in person.
