Long lines form for opening of new Duck Donut location

Long lines formed Friday for the opening of Duck Donut’s fifth location in New Jersey.
The newest location opened in the Clark Circle Shopping Center in Clark.
The first customer in line told News 12 New Jersey that he waited for 45 minutes before the doors opened.
Duck Donuts owner Ron Bevan says that how they make the doughnuts is what sets them apart from other doughnut shops.
“The doughnuts are actually made as soon as you finish your order. It takes about 90 seconds for the doughnuts to go through the doughnut machine and they come out hot and they’re topped exactly the way you like them,” Bevan says. “You’ve got some favorites but then some people choose some crazy combinations and everything that they like.”
Duck Donuts also has other locations in Burlington, Cape May, Monmouth and Somerset counties.
