Princeton music group pulls Disney song over "toxic masculinity" lyrics

An all-male a cappella group in Princeton is making changes to one of its performances after a student newspaper suggested a Disney song promotes "toxic masculinity."
Every year, The Tones would perform an act using the Disney song "Kiss the Girl" from "The Little Mermaid."
During the rendition, the group would pull a woman from the audience on stage for a decision: allow a man from the audience to kiss her on the lips or cheek, or kindly reject it.
The group is pulling the song from its act after a student newspaper suggested the song's lyrics, combined with the kiss, promotes "toxic masculinity."
The move comes after a number of radio stations across the U.S. stopped playing the song “Baby It's Cold Outside" for suggestive lyrics.
