Marriott says the data of more than 500 million people has been compromised. They say hackers accessed things like passport information, credit card numbers and email addresses. The hack was discovered on Sept. 8, and upon investigation found out the information had been compromised since 2014. Marriott says those impacted will be contacted by email.
There's a new way to go through security at the Atlanta airport. Delta airlines has installed biometric technology at one of its gates. The technology uses facial recognition to speed up the travel process. Right now, it can only be used by travelers flying directly to an international destination, but Delta is testing similar technology in other capacities.
A big step for space tourism: Virgin CEO Richard Branson tells CNN that the company will send its first astronauts into space before Christmas. At first, the trip to space will be completed by test pilots before paying tourists make the journey. Branson says he will be the first civilian to make the trip.
