Drivers can speed up again in Mine Hill after sign mistake

Drivers can pick up the speed again in Mine Hill now that a mistake by road crews has been fixed.
A sub-contractor paved Randolph Avenue last week and installed new road signs, but put the wrong speed limit signs up -- changing it from 35 to 25 on the county road.
Residents noticed, complained and the contractor was asked to fix the mistake.
It took a few days, since the mistake was noticed the night before Thanksgiving.
Morris County's communications manager says the contractor did the work without informing the county or local officials.
The fix was done Wednesday.
