Parking may be limited this Thanksgiving at Newark airport

Officials at Newark Liberty International Airport are warning travelers who drive to the airport ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday that parking may be limited.
Officials also say that travelers should expect large crowds while checking in, as well as in the security line and in the parking lot. They say that this is due to construction in the area, as well as a high volume of travelers for the holiday.
They advise travelers to use public transportation if possible or reserve a parking spot at least 12 hours in advance.
There are parking lots at sites away from the airport, but there are no guarantees that there will be spots available or shuttle to the airport.
Newark Liberty’s website does have a link to reserve parking, as well as a real-time look at how many spots are available.
AAA says that more than 54 million Americans are expected to travel 50 miles or more this Thanksgiving, with nearly 4.3 million of those people traveling by air.
The Transportation Security Administration says that travelers should arrive at the airport at least two hours before their flights take off in order to make sure they have enough time to make the flight.
