College student admits to having homemade bomb, illegal weapons

RUMSON -

A former Cornell University student from Rumson admitted in court to having a homemade bomb and illegal weapons in his apartment.

Maximilien Reynolds, 21, has pleaded guilty to federal weapons charges.  He now faces up to 10 years in prison.

Reynolds was on academic leave from Cornell at the time of his arrest back in March.

He'll be sentenced next year.
