Authorities: Woman killed after NJ Transit train strikes car she was in

A woman was killed when the car she was in was struck by a NJ Transit train, authorities say.
The accident happened on the tracks near the Murray Hill Station in New Providence.
According to a NJ Transit spokesperson, the crash happened Thursday shortly after 6 p.m. during the height of the storm.
The woman was taken to Morristown Medical Center, where she died within the hour.
There were 100 people on board the train at the time of the crash.
Nobody else was injured.
