A poll has named south Jersey staple Wawa the best sandwiches in the U.S.

According to a Market Force information survey, Wawa took top honors among all chain sandwich shops in the nation.

The survey took quality of the sandwiches and guest satisfaction into consideration.

Wawa’s are currently only in six states.

Firehouse Subs finished second.

Another Garden State-based chain, Jersey Mike’s, made the top five.
