Small Business Saturday 2018 Shopping Guide

Just a day after Black Friday with big-name retailers offering discounts, local businesses celebrate Small Business Saturday. Local businesses drive the economy, provide thousands of jobs and are the backbone of your neighborhood. Below is a list of some shopping events in the tri-state area on Saturday, Nov. 24 to highlight local shops on Small Business Saturday.

Connecticut
Fairfield
For the kids, Santa Claus will be available for photos from 10 a.m. - 2p.m. In addition, a petting zoo, horse and buggy rides are available for kids. The Fairfield Theater Company will be showing “Frozen - The Sing-Along Edition” from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will give out “I Love Fairfield” button pins, along with “Shop Local” items from the Town, including canvas bags. Click here for more info.

Small Business Saturday & Pop-up Shop - This annual event brings together over 30 of the best artisans from in and around the Glastonbury area and attracts hundreds of holiday shoppers looking to fill their stockings with that something special. Click here for more info.
