Authorities: Missing teen may be heading to California
Morris County officials are asking the public for help locating a missing 15-year-old boy.
Police say that Thomas Kolding, of Mountain Lakes, was last seen at his family’s home on Oct. 30.
A spokesperson for the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office says that Kolding may have traveled by train from Denville to Newark Board Street Station and then from Newark to New York Penn Station. Officials say that Kolding had a strong interest in traveling to California.
Kolding is a white male with brown hair and eyes. He is 120 pounds and is 5 feet 3 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, gray winter skull cap and carrying a large black backpack.
Anyone who has any information about the teen’s disappearance is urged to contact Mountain Lakes police at 973-334-1413 or the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office at 973-285-2900.
