Driver hits Department of Transportation truck in Glen Rock

A driver in an SUV hitting a Department of Transportation truck, sending three people scrambling, was caught on camera in Glen Rock.
The incident occurred on Route 208, and no one was seriously hurt.
Glen Rock police say they posted the dashcam video footage to use as a teachable moment and show drivers the need to slow down and move over if they see emergency vehicles working.
The video was taken from a Glen Rock police cruiser, which was there to make sure workers were safe.
The SUV plowed right into one of the trucks, which had its lights on.
Two workers were able to avoid the oncoming SUV and run aside, but one worker was forced to dash into the left lane, right in front of an incoming car.
Glen Rock police say they often deal with impaired or distracted drivers even when they’re doing something routine like directing traffic in front of the high school.
