Newark held a vigil Monday night to remember the victims of last Saturday’s synagogue shooting.
Mayor Ros Baraka and Attorney General Gurbir Grewal were there.
A handful of religious leaders of all faiths also joined in.
Speakers focused on a theme of unity and standing up together against hate and violence.
Flags statewide will fly at half-staff through Sunday to remember the victims.
